LIONS BAY HISTORICAL SOCIETY (LBHS)
The goal of the LBHS is to promote public awareness and preserve the history of Lions Bay.
To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the incorporation of Lions Bay as a village in 2001, the Lions Bay Historical Society published a written history of our community entitled, “The Village of Lions Bay – Historical Passages from the 1790s to the Present”. This publication is both interesting and informative and has been very well received. There are several locations where copies are available including Spirit Gallery in Horseshoe Bay and locally in the Lions Bay General Store & Café and at the Village Office. Proceeds from the sale of this booklet will go towards a community project.
