Lions Bay residents value their community as a peaceful, close-knit village, deeply connected to the natural West Coast environment, yet close to a major metropolitan area. The community has a strong sense of self-governance while desiring to stay connected to neighbours and partners in the region.

The recent and dramatic pace of growth along the Sea-to-Sky corridor has created new challenges for Lions Bay. The community must be thoughtful and innovative in making development choices which maintain its unique sense of place, respect the natural environment, enhance its social diversity and provide affordable services to the community.

The Village of Lions Bay Property Tax Notices for 2016 are being mailed out on Friday, May 27th. The due date for payment is July 14th by 4:00 p.m. 

Home owners can pay by cheque or cash at the Village Office, online through most financial institutions, or by dropping off a cheque after hours through the mail slot at the Village Office prior to July 14th.
The Home Owner Grants are also due by July 14th by 4:00 p.m. Home owners can now claim their grants online: (To apply online you will need your roll number and the HOG Access Code which is located on your property tax notice below your name and address. The HOG Access code is your password).
