Lions Bay residents value their community as a peaceful, close-knit Village, deeply connected to the natural West Coast environment, yet close to a major metropolitan area. The community has a strong sense of self-governance while desiring to stay connected to neighbours and partners in the region. The Village is governed by a Mayor and four Councillors who are elected for a term of four years with the next local election to be held in October 2022.
