Section 7 of Secondary Suite Surcharge Bylaw No. 513, 2017, as amended, requires ALL property owners to answer the following questions: First and Last Name Civic Address Account Number Does your property contain a Secondary Suite? Yes No If YES, is the Secondary Suite Occupied? Yes No 3. If YES, is the Secondary Suite occupied by the home owner’s immediate family member or an active volunteer firefighter? Yes No Name of Firefighter Please Note:If your Secondary Suite is occupied by a person who is not an Immediate Family Member, or an active volunteer firefighter, you need to pay the Secondary Suite Surcharge noted on your Utilities Notice. ALL SECONDARY SUITES, whether new or existing, and whether occupied by a family member or a non-family member, MUST BE INSPECTED AND APPROVED. The Municipality's principle concern is safety.
