The schedule of Council and Committee meetings can be viewed here. Agendas and supporting materials are generally available at least 24 hours prior to a meeting.
Meetings of Council and its Committees are conducted according to the Council Procedures Bylaw No. 476, 2015, as amended, which defines how meetings are held and conducted.
Council meetings are generally held on the first and third Tuesday of each month, except August and the second meeting in December. Meetings begin at 6:00 p.m. in Council Chambers at 400 Centre Road, Lions Bay. Generally, Council will begin any closed session at 6:00 p.m. and the open meeting will generally start at 7:00 p.m. Decisions of Council are formalised by Resolution or Bylaw.
Open Council meetings are publicly broadcast on ZOOM; Committee meetings are generally not broadcast, but are open to the public.
Closed Meetings
As matters dictate, Council may or must close a Council meeting to the public as provided in Section 90 of the Community Charter.

- Participation via ZOOM during the Public Participation portion of the agenda occurs after members of the gallery have spoken. Microphones must be muted until it is time to speak.
- Other than during Public Participation, Council discussion must not be interrupted, at jeopardy of being removed from the meeting.
