Operations (Public Works)

The Operations Department accounts for about half of the Village’s annual budget. Key service areas include:

1. Drinking water collection, treatment and distribution
2. Roads, bridges, drainage, snow & ice controlm traffic & Lighting
3. Wastewater collection & treatment (100 residences in Kelvin Grove)
4. Facilities maintenance and management
5. Parks and open spaces
6. Solid waste

The Yard is located at #5 Tidewater Way and manned from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday to Friday except statutory holidays. Wildlife-attractant copostable and landfill waste is taken 6-9 Friday and 8-1 Saturday, alongside special recyclables.
