Council Chambers

The Village of Lions Bay’s Finance Department provides support services to the municipality. It maintains and communicates financial information to the public, council, and staff.

The Financial Services Department is responsible for:

  • Property Taxation and collection;
    • Order a Property Tax Certificate here: BC Tax Certificates
    • It's simple and easy to do. Servicing fees will apply. 
  • Utility Billing and collection;
  • Account Payable, Accounts Receivable;
  • Financial planning, budgeting, reporting and control;
  • Payroll;
  • Administering the Grant in Aid program for Municipal Community groups and initiatives; 
  • Filming Permits; 
  • Managing external grants and funding opportunities;
  • Reporting to Province, and Municipal Affairs, such as SOFI Report.
