Lions Bay GIS was instituted in the early 2000s, and as of late 2025 is under redevelopment to ensure compatibility with the Next Gen 911 program.  Click here or the link below to reach the live public version hosted on the Esri ArcGIS platform, where extensive utility and jurisdictional layers are available under the

  • In the "Utilities - Sanitary" dataset, the "Mains" layer is only built in the Kelvin Grove neighbourhood.
  • Most Water artifacts are datum shifted approx. 5 m to the east, and are in the process of being ground-truthed and adjusted.  Use with caution.
  • Pole locations in the BC Hydro layer are inaccurate, but the Telus layer provides close representations of the same poles.
