Lions Bay Fire Rescue (LBFR) is the Village's first responder to emergency and non-emergency incidents including property fires, wildfire, medical emergencies, motor vehicle accidents, technical rescues and more. Paid-on-call members are highly trained and cumulatively volunteer over 2050 hours each month in training, standby and response.
The department operates from a modern fire hall (renovated 2025) with three apparatus (Engine 61, Engine 62 and Command Vehicle 63). A training facility is located at the Upper Brunswick area.
