The Village of Lions Bay’s Finance Department provides support services to the municipality, as well as maintaining and communicating financial information to the public, Council, and staff.
The Financial Services Department is responsible for:
Property Taxation and collection;
Utility Billing and collection;
Account Payable, Accounts Receivable;
Financial planning, budgeting, reporting and control;
Payroll;
Administering the Grant in Aid program for Municipal Community groups and initiatives;
Filming Permits;
Managing external grants and funding opportunities;
Reporting to Province, and Municipal Affairs, such as SOFI Report.
