Please take notice that in accordance with s.1.26.2 of the above-referenced Invitation to Tenderers issued by the Village of Lions Bay on November 23, 2017 (the “Invitation”), the Village hereby cancels the Invitation, effective immediately. The Water Storage Facilities Replacement project for the Village of Lions Bay includes demolition and disposal of a post-tensioned concrete reservoir used for potable water storage and replacement with a 2.33 ML aboveground water storage reservoir. The project also includes the demolition and disposal of an above ground concrete reservoir used for potable water equalization storage and replacement with a below ground 0.10 ML concrete reservoir. In addition, the project includes the construction of three new above ground pressure reducing valve station kiosks, expansion of a below ground valve chamber, other demolition works, additional site works, roadworks, installation of mechanical piping, valves and appurtenances and installation of electrical and instrumentation to service the new facilities.
A non-mandatory pre-tender meeting will be held on Thursday, November 30, 2017 at 10:00 AM. Participants are asked to wear PPE and meet at the Village of Lions Bay Offices at 400 Centre Road, Lions Bay, BC, V0N 2E0, B.C.
