This addendum consists of change to the Closing Date from March 21, 2018 to March 28, 2018. Additional items include changes in the substantial and total completion dates, revised drawings, and answers to questions posed by prospective bidders.

Addendum 1: Issued March 7, 2018

This addendum consists of amendments to the contract documents and drawings; the inclusion of new drawings and details; and the inclusion of questions and answers from the Pre-Tender Meeting of February 22, 2018.

Summary Details:

The Water Storage Facilities Replacement project for the Village of Lions Bay includes demolition and disposal of a post-tensioned concrete reservoir used for potable water storage and its replacement with a 2.33 ML aboveground water storage reservoir. Additionally, te project also includes the demolition and disposal of an above ground concrete reservoir used for potable water equalization storage and its replacement with a below ground 0.10 ML concrete reservoir. 

Lastly, the project includes the construction of three new above ground pressure reducing valve station kiosks, expansion of a below ground valve chamber, other demolition works, additional site works, roadworks, installation of mechanical piping, valves and appurtenances and installation of electrical and instrumentation to service these new facilities.

A non-mandatory pre-tender meeting will be held on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at 10:00 AM. Participants are asked to wear PPE and meet at the Village of Lions Bay Offices at 400 Centre Road, Lions Bay, BC, V0N 2E0, B.C.
